Srishti 2016 –National Level Technical Project Exhibition and Competition for engineering students was organised by SAINTGITS College of Engineering on 27th & 28th January 2016. It was the third edition of Srishti after the remarkable feedback from the participants of Srishti 2014 & 2015..
The Srishti 2016 was associated with Kerala Financial Corporation, Startup Village, Technopark TBI (TTBI), Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) along with SAINTGITS Industrial Research Centre and SAINTGITS Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. . The Industrial Partner for Srishti 2016 was National Instruments. They had sponsored awards worth Rupees One Lakh .Besides, All Kerala Robotics Championship for School Students was also organized on 27th January

Technical Project Exhibition & Competition:
There was an overwhelming response from more than 117 eminent Engineering Colleges throughout India with 554 registrations for competition. 102 projects were selected for six segments of engineering viz. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science and the focus segment of the year ‘Healthcare’. In association with National Instuments (NI) 14 projects are selected in the LabVIEW stream for the competition. The Total prize money was Rs. 2,00,000/-.

Sri T K Jose has also tested the innovative Paddy Harvestor designed and prototyped by the Mechanical Engineering Students.
Sri Thomas T John, Director, Saintgits Group of Institutions presided over the award function. Padmavibhushan.Dr. G Madhavan Nair was the chief guest of the award function. The Best Innovation award of Rs 1 Lakh was bagged by Kongu Engineering college, Erode, Tamil Nadu for their multipurpose harvester. T.P Sathish Kumar of the same college was adjudged for the best mentor. Students of various engineering colleges across the country have come forward with many useful awesome innovations for Srishti2016.
Candidates must belong to B.Tech/BE course of any Engineering College in India/IIT/NIT/Universities.
One project can be registered in any one stream irrespective of the branch of study of project team members.
